Auburn offers 2024 4-star DL Jeffery Rush

Pascagoula (Miss.) four-star defensive lineman Jeffery Rush received an offer from Auburn on Wednesday. He announced the news over social media.

Rush is the No. 167 overall prospect and No. 15 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Mississippi.

The 6-foot-3, 255-pound defender holds seven offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Mississippi State has a very close lead for his commitment at 35.1%.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Auburn’s 2024 recruiting class currently has one commitment. Alabaster (Ala.) Moody School four-star cornerback A’Mon Lane chose the Tigers on July 30.

Rush has an On3 NIL Valuation of $8.1K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
