Auburn wide receiver Eric Singleton is expected to play this week against Oklahoma, On3’s Pete Nakos confirmed. He was listed as questionable on Wednesday’s initial injury report.

Singleton was also upgraded to probable on Thursday’s availability report. He was one of four players listed with the designation as Saturday’s game approaches.

Singleton has appeared in all three games this season for Auburn after transferring from Georgia Tech. During that time, he has 13 receptions for 149 yards and two touchdowns, while also taking five carries for 25 yards.

Prior to his arrival on The Plains, Singleton was a standout receiver at Georgia Tech over two years. He turned in his best year as a sophomore in 2024 when he hauled in 56 receptions for 754 yards and three touchdowns. He was also part of the run game, taking 21 carries for 131 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

After entering the portal, Eric Singleton became one of the top players available. He came in as the No. 4 overall player and top-ranked wide receiver, according to the On3 Industry Transfer Rankings. He’s also among the highest-paid wide receivers in the country this year.

Saturday’s game between Auburn and Oklahoma is one of the most intriguing on the slate. Of course, the biggest storyline is quarterback Jackson Arnold making his return to Norman after transferring this offseason. Now Auburn’s starting quarterback, he is off to a strong start to the year, throwing for 501 yards and four touchdowns while adding 192 rushing yards and four scores on the ground.

As he gets ready to face his former quarterback, OU coach Brent Venables acknowledged Arnold’s impressive start. He pointed to ball security and having healthy players around him as key factors, praising the work he’s done through the early part of the season.

“I think he’s the same guy, I think he’s got a healthy football team around him and he’s having great success running, throwing, being really efficient,” Venables said of Arnold. “He’s taking care of the ball. And the people around him are good. You can’t play quarterback by yourself, right? So I think their offense and defense compliment one another, and he’s really done a great job.”
