Oklahoma at Auburn Preview

Auburn continues to be the most dominant team in the country on a 16-game winning streak, having not lost since they battled UConn in November.

Their biggest scare of the run came on Tuesday at Missouri where they survived 55-54 thanks to K.D. Johnson’s five-straight points to end regulation during the Tigers’ first game as the No. 1 team in the nation in program history.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma is sitting at 3-5 in the Big 12 standings, including dropping four of their last five, three of which came against top-25 ranked teams (Texas, Kansas, Baylor). It’s a tall task asking for positive results when your schedule throws three top-10 teams at you in an 11-day span, but if you ask those inside Oklahoma, they’ll tell you they’re ready to shock the nation Saturday afternoon.

“It’s an opportunity. That’s how you have to approach it,” Sooners head coach Porter Moser said Friday. “ … You get better doing this. It’s gonna be really hard, but man, what an opportunity. The guys are excited to play.”
