Wyoming's Obi Agbim transfers to Baylor
Wyoming’s Obi Agbim was one of the top players early on to start this next cycle in the transfer portal. Now, he has committed to play his next season in Waco.
Agbim just finished his fifth collegiate season in total and his first at this level at Wyoming. He had previously spent the prior at four seasons at Metro State, Northeastern Junior College, and Fort Lewis College. He’ll get to play a sixth season, though, due to the eligibility ruling for those previously at JUCOs.
In 29 games this season with the Cowboys, Agbim averaged 17.6 points (46.9% FG, 43.7% 3PT), 3.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game. That made him their leading scorer and leader in assists, steals, field goals, and three-point shooting.

With that, per On3’s 2025 Top Transfer Portal Players at the time, Agbim was the No. 7 overall transfer. He was also the No. 3 SG at that point behind only Josh Dix (Iowa) and Tucker DeVries (West Virginia). That earned him plenty of early interest in the portal, specifically, per reports then, out of the Big 12 with Baylor earning 100% of the predictions within just a few days of him having entered the portal.
