Boise State running back Jambres Dubar plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He is wrapping up his third season with the Broncos.

Dubar has seen his usage diminish over the course of his three seasons with the program. He initially made a name for himself as a freshman in 2023.

During his first year on campus at Boise State, Jambres Dubar logged 62 carries for 335 yards and two scores. He averaged 5.4 yards per carry, playing behind superstar Ashton Jeanty.

He had considerably less impact as a sophomore in 2024, though he still managed to record statistics in seven different games. He finished the year with 25 carries for 99 yards and two touchdowns.

With Jeanty gone, there was some thought that Jambres Dubar might once again be in line for a bigger role in 2025. However, it simply didn’t materialize. He has recorded touches in only two games, with three carries for 12 yards on the season.

As he seeks a new home in the transfer portal, Dubar also can boast some pass-catching ability. He may not be prolific, but he has recorded eight catches for 29 yards in three seasons.

Prior to enrolling at Boise State, Jambres Dubar was ranked as a three-star prospect and the No. 484 overall prospect in the 2023 class in the On3 Consensus. He was the No. 33 running back in the class and the No. 79 overall player from the state of Texas in his cycle, hailing from Anna (TX) Anna.

Oklahoma State receiver enters transfer portal

With the transfer portal windows changed this year, there’s been more minimal portal activity overall. Jambres Dubar’s pending move is one, and Oklahoma State recently saw a player enter the transfer portal.

Receiver Jaylen Lloyd has played in just two games this year for the Cowboys. During that time, he has logged one carry for a yard. He does not yet have a reception. With that in mind, he opted to enter the transfer portal.

Prior to transferring to Oklahoma State, Lloyd was at Nebraska. In two years at Nebraska, he logged 19 catches for 492 yards and three scores. He had improved his production quite a bit from freshman to sophomore year, though he was more explosive as a freshman.

In fact, Lloyd caught six passes for a whopping 237 yards and three scores in 2023, showing his big-play potential. That came out to an average of 39.5 yards per catch.

While his average came back down to earth in 2024, it was still an impressive 19.6. He managed to catch 13 passes for 255 yards, though he did not find the end zone as a sophomore.
