3-star safety KP Price finds the 'perfect fit' at Boston College

It came down to Boston College, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia for KP Price. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound safety out of Baltimore (Md.) St. Francis Academy felt wanted by those in Chestnut Hill and he committed to the Eagles.
The three-star announced his commitment on Sept. 18 to honor his mother on her birthday.
“This was one of the hardest decisions of my life,” Price told On3. “It came down to Boston College and West Virginia. I could see myself at both schools, I saw both schools as fits for me, but it came down to how I feel about life outside of football.
“I feel I fit in great at Boston College. The people there, I can really relate well too. Downtown reminds me of being home in the harbor of Baltimore. The football is great, but outside of football is what sets Boston College apart.
“I can be happy there. Throw football out of the equation and Boston College is the perfect fit for me.”

Price took official visits to Morgantown and Chestnut Hill in June. He communicated with coaches from both schools throughout the summer and decided on the Eagles towards the end of August.
Outside of the feeling around campus, Aazaar Abdul-Rahim played a big role in Price’s decision.
“Since the day we first talked, coach Aazaar has stayed in contact with me. We have built a different relationship. He is more than just a coach to me. I know he will be a great coach and a great mentor for me. He is more like a father figure. He deserves a shout-out. Coach Aazaar was a big part of this for me.”
