Offensive linemen James Jenkins, Josh Gregory commit to Cincinnati

After landing a commitment from four-star safety Daeh McCullough earlier Saturday, Cincinnati got more good news later in the day with a pair of offensive line pledges from their official visit weekend. The Bearcats have added three-star Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood Day offensive tackle James Jenkins, as well St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College lineman Josh Gregory.
Jenkins is unranked by the On3 Consensus, but On3’s own rankings peg him as the country’s No. 57 offensive tackle and the No. 102 prospect in the state of Florida. Gregory, meanwhile is currently unranked by On3 but checks in as a three-star prospect on other recruiting sites.

Jenkins chose the Bearcats over Purdue and Cal, which were scheduled to host him for official visits this month. Gregory picked Cincinnati over offers from Northwestern, Minnesota, Kansas and a handful of others.
The duo gives Cincinnati 10 commits in the 2023 recruiting cycle and pushes them the No. 24 class nationally in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
