Deion Sanders has made fans and believers out of many people based on the start of Colorado’s season. That includes Jets’ QB Aaron Rodgers as he also is all in on Coach Prime in Boulder.

Rodgers made an appearance during ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ on Friday and spoke about the hot topic of Sanders and the Buffaloes. He said he’s very much a fan of their work so far and thinks it’s great considering how they have shut their haters down over the first three weeks of the year.

“I’m a fan of what Deion’s doing,” Rodgers said.

“They must be doing something right. (Robert) Saleh said this – If there’s a lot of crows peckin’ and a lot of people chit-talking? They must be doing something right,” said Rodgers. “They showed up the team that was in the national championship in Week 1. Then somebody said something in Week 2, right? And they shut them up. And then somebody else just said something in Week 3 now and they’re about to shut them up too.”

From quarterback to quarterback, Rodgers also had high regard for Shedeur Sanders, Sanders’ son and Colorado’s QB1. He said that he, as well as Travis Hunter, have done a great job of making people who thought they couldn’t make the jump from the FCS to the FBS look silly.

“(Sanders) played at Jackson State but he can’t play at big-time college football, right? (He had) 510 yards Week 1. Come on,” said Rodgers. “What are we talking about here? And the other kid that plays both ways? He’s incredible too.”

Rodgers is unfortunately going to have some extra time on his hands this season after rupturing his Achilles on Monday Night Football this week. However, that should give him a few more chances to check out Coach Sanders and the Buffs as their spotlight continues to grow this fall.

Sanders reveals the key to what is working at Colorado: ‘We just truly believe’

Deion Sanders is undoubtedly the biggest story in college football at the moment based on what Colorado has done in their first two weeks. They’ve only been able to do those things, though, because of the belief that resonates throughout their entire program.

During an appearance on ‘First Take’ on Friday, Sanders talked about what’s clearly working with the Buffaloes. To him, everything about their success is rooted in the faith that they have in one another and their outcome, no matter what anyone else has to say.

“We believe,” Sanders stated. “We have a wonderful plan, wonderful support staff. The coaching staff is impeccable. And the kids that we went out there and targeted to come as well as the ones we brought in? We just believe.”

Regardless of the noise, regardless of the naysayers, we truly believe in what’s inside that locker room and what’s dictating those plays, truly believe in what we’ve created,” said Sanders. “We just truly believe.”

Sanders says he also believes because winning is all that he has ever known. Whether as a player, coach, or anything else, he has achieved and made the necessary sacrifices to do so. That’s why, whether right now or in the future, he has every reason to think that Colorado is going to get where they want to be in his tenure.

I’ve always been that. This is just a different tool I’m using but it’s the same game, right? It’s just a different tool,” explained Sanders. “I don’t remember when I hadn’t won. Like, I’ve always wanted to win, I always did what I had to do.”

“When you’re trying to win at a certain level? There’s gonna be sacrifices, right? You’ve got to accept and you’ve got to cross some of those hurdles to get to that place that we call ‘there’,” said Sanders. “That’s what we’re chasing – that place called ‘there’. And I’ll be darned. I’m gonna get there. We’re gonna get there.”
