Colorado fires back at claims of edits in viral practice highlight

Colorado fired back at any claims that its viral practice highlight was edited. Well, it was edited, but it was not two separate Shedeur Sanders throws.
While the clip went viral, many roasted the program on social media. Heck, Arkansas made its own version as a troll.
But Colorado fired back and showed the video evidence of Sanders’ throw, a good one at that.
There’s no question Sanders, his father Deion and the Colorado program as a whole bring in a lot of attention, takes and criticism.
Going into the 2024 season, Shedeur Sanders claimed playing Colorado is the “Super Bowl” for everyone else.
“(It’s) been that since day one,” Sanders said. “I remember(my) first media day when I was in HBCU, I said we won’t lose a game. I’m undefeated in the SWAC so I already know what the expectation comes with. I know we’re everybody’s Super Bowl so I really just stay level headed and grounded. I would never want to be that guy to look back and not (be) able to take advantage of the moment we have right now.”

You have to go back to when Shedeur Sanders and Colorado were 3-0 last year but were then blasted by Oregon 42-6. That’s when Dan Lanning said Colorado was “fighting for clicks and we’re fighting for wins.”
It was a clear indication that playing Colorado came with a lot of attention, deserved or not. Because of the attention Sanders and the program commanded, every single play can be critiqued.
And of course, if you start losing, it is much easier to point fingers and rip their process. Colorado turned over a lot of the roster again, including the entire offensive line, ahead of 2024.
