Duke fans troll Florida State, sing War Chant during first win vs. Seminoles

Things went from bad to worse on Friday night for the Florida State Seminoles. FSU dropped to 1-6 on the 2024 campaign, after they lost a tough one to the Duke Blue Devils. Not only did they lose to the Blue Devils, but it was the first win in Duke football history over FSU.
So, naturally, the Duke fans had to troll Florida State and sing the War Chant in the final minutes.

It was the fewest total yards of offense in a Duke win while scoring at least 21 points (since 2004). And quite frankly, it’s not particularly close. The Blue Devils only managed 180 yards of offense, but still pulled out the historic victory thanks to Florida State turning the ball over.
Before tonight, Duke and Florida State had played 22 times dating back to 1992. FSU had won all 22 meetings. Only one of those games (2017) was even decided by a single score. The Blue Devils changed all of that on Friday night in Durham. It’s a massive win for Manny Diaz and the Duke coaching staff. In just his first year at the helm, he already has the Blue Devils bowl eligible. They sit at 6-1 on the 2024 campaign.
Duke running back Star Thomas had 21 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown. Blue Devils quarterback Maalik Murphy completed 12 of 24 passes for 70 yards. The Duke defense was dominant, racking up six sacks. They also had a pick-six which ended up being crucial in the victory. The Blue Devils defense forced two turnovers from FSU quarterback Brock Glenn. And those proved to be pivotal in the outcome.
