Former Duke, NBA player Kyle Singler arrested following domestic violence accusation

Kyle Singler was reportedly arrested for domestic violence, including accusations of attempted rape, against his girlfriend. He has now since been released on bond, though.
This comes this afternoon per reporting by News 9 out of Whitefield, Oklahoma. The incident apparently took place at an AirBNB in the town in Haskell County.
According to News 9, Singler, his girlfriend, and their son were staying at the AirBNB. She would tell the officers with the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office that Singler attempted to rape her, as he grabbed her head and shoved her to the ground. One policeman confirmed to the outlet that the palm-made mark on her fade was measured to that of the handprint for Singler. An affidavit as part of the incident also noted that he appeared to be under the influence of drugs, as he did not cooperate with the responding policemen.
Singler, eight years removed from his playing career in basketball, has seemingly been troubled off the court for some time. That was evident as recently as last year, with some concerning posts shared on social media, and now a year later with his matter.
