Largo (Fla.) four-star linebacker Adarius Hayes has announced his commitment to Florida. He chose the Gators over multiple programs, including Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State.

Hayes is the No. 55 overall prospect and the No. 6 linebacker in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 11 player in Florida.

On3 rates Hayes higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 33 overall prospect, No. 3 linebacker and No. 7 player in Florida.

“I love it (here),” Hayes told Corey Bender of Gators Online on Nov. 14. “It feels like home.”

Prior to his commitment, Hayes visited Gainesville six times. His most recent trip to Florida was on Jan. 21.

Hayes is now the fourth member of Florida’s 2024 recruiting class. The others are Willis (Texas) four-star quarterback DJ Lagway, Atlanta Woodward Academy four-star linebacker Myles Graham and North Palm Beach (Fla.) The Benjamin School four-star running back Chauncey Bowens.

A 6-foot-4, 210-pound prospect, Hayes has an On3 NIL Valuation of $75K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
