<a href="https://www.on3.com/college/florida-gators/">Florida</a> head coach Billy Napier and assistant Jabbar Juluke visited Owasso (Okla.) four-star defensive lineman defensive lineman <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/chris-mcclellan-22100/">Chris McClellan</a> on Monday.

McClellanis the No. 101 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/football/2022/">On3 Consensus</a>, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is ranked as the nation’s No. 15 defensive lineman and No. 3 player in the state of Oklahoma. 



The only players ranked above him from the state of Oklahoma are Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington four-star cornerback <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/gentry-williams-45566/">Gentry Williams</a> and Edmond (Okla.) Santa Fe four-star wide receiver <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/talyn-shettron-109960/">Talyn Shettron</a>. 



McClellan committed to Florida during the time period when it was between coaches. Clearly he likes who the Gators have hired.



“I love the program that much,” McClellan told CBS Sports during the broadcast of his commitment. “I know that’s where I wanted to be at so that’s where I’m going.”

Florida has 11 commits in its 2022 class, which ranks 24th in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.



Chris McClellan is the top prospect in the class, and is one of the team’s key commits along with Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange four-star wide receiver <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/jayden-gibson-58649/">Jayden Gibson</a>, Orlando (Fla.) Bishop Moore Catholic four-star wide receiver <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/chandler-smith-19941/">Chandler Smith</a> and Flower Mound (Texas) Flower Mound four-star quarterback <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/nick-evers-92496/">Nick Evers</a>.



Earlier in the day, Napier and Juluke visited Lake Charles (La.) Lake Charles College Prep to see uncommitted four-star running back <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/trevonte'-citizen-115640/">TreVonte’ Citizen</a>.



He is nation’s fourth-best running back behind Governor Mifflin (Reading, PA) and <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/penn-state-nittany-lions/">Penn State</a> five-star commit <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/nick-singleton-92199/">Nick Singleton</a>, Hartford (Ala.) Geneva County and <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/alabama-crimson-tide/">Alabama</a> five-star commit <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/emmanuel-henderson-41754/">Emmanuel Henderson</a>, and Madison (Miss.) Germantown and <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/georgia-bulldogs/">Georgia</a> four-star commit <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/branson-robinson-13423/">Branson Robinson</a>.
