WATCH: Kowacie Reeves slams home vicious baseline dunk

Florida and Vanderbilt are trading blows in the first half of a very competitive game in Gainesville and guard Kowacie Reeves delivered a vicious baseline dunk late in the half to bring the crowd to its feet.
Reeves had just come up with a steal on the defensive end, then got free off the right side for a baseline drive.
He took full advantage, cutting down hard and launching a vicious baseline dunk over the likes of Vanderbilt big man Liam Robbins.
Robbins was having an excellent first half before his baptism, too.
The Vanderbilt big man finished the first half with 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting, helping pace the Commodores in scoring in a first half that ended with Vanderbilt leading 42-41.

But he’ll certainly want to forget that dunk by Reeves, which put him on a poster.
Florida clawing for its spot on the NCAA Tournament bubble
Florida has work to do still if it hopes to make the NCAA Tournament. The Gators had a chance to steal a significant Quad 1 win against Alabama earlier in the week but came up empty.
As it stands right now, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has Florida toward the back of its teams in the “Next Four Out” category.
Florida has bounced around between the “First Four Out” and “Next Four Out” in recent weeks.
The bottom line is the Gators need to secure a marquee win or two to get into the mix. And while the Commodores won’t provide that type of boost to the resume, Florida’s getting pretty close to the point where any further losses are detrimental to its NCAA Tournament chances.
Florida trailed Vanderbilt 42-41 at the half.
