Titus Bullard is continuing the family tradition.

An edge rusher out of Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep, Bullard is the son of former Florida Gators defensive lineman Thaddeus Bullard, who player in Gainesville from 1997-2000.

On Tuesday, the younger Bullard announced his commitment to Florida as a preferred walk-on.

“Thanks to my coaches, teammates and fam, helped me become the person I am. All glory to God, He is Major, Thanks to him, and I am now a Florida Gator.”

The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder plays linebacker and rush end, similar to his father. In four years at Berkeley Prep — one of the premier programs in Florida — he totaled 122 tackles, including 40 TFLs, as wells as 18.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.

The elder Bullard played in 44 games with the Gators over his four years in Gainesville, notching 56 tackles and nine tackles for loss. After his college career ended, he played for five seasons in the Arena Football League before retiring from the game.

Two years after that, he began his professional wrestling career with the WWE under the name Titus O’Neil. Over the past 15 years, he has become one of wrestling’s most well-liked characters and even won a tag team championship.

In 2021, Bullard was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a recipient of the Warrior Award, honoring his charitable work — especially in his hometown of Tampa. In the summer of 2021, a public school in Tampa was also named after Bullard honoring his charitable work and contributions to and for the Hillsborough County public school system.
