Florida State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei gets engaged to girlfriend Ava Pritchard

Florida State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei has been through a lot in his career, from some highs at Clemson to multiple transfers. But now he’s got something he hopes will be quite permanent in his life: a partnership.
Uiagalelei shared pictures on his Twitter account of him getting engaged to his girlfriend Ava Pritchard.
He posted it with the caption: “It was always You.” Check it out below.
DJ Uiagalelei, as noted above, has had quite the journey in college. He initially began his career at Clemson as one of the highest-rated recruits in the country.
Coming out of high school, Uiagalelei was ranked as a five-star prospect and the No. 12 overall recruit in the country in the 2020 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
He was ranked as the No. 2 quarterback in the class and the No. 3 overall player from the state of California, hailing from Bellflower (CA) St. John Bosco.
DJ Uiagalelei played in 10 games as a true freshman, mostly as a reserve for Trevor Lawrence. But he did get the opportunity to start two games when Lawrence was injured, becoming only the seventh true freshman to start at quarterback for the Tigers.

He would go on to start the next two seasons, seeing 26 total starts. In his three years at Clemson, Uiagalelei threw for 5,681 yards and 36 touchdowns, against 17 interceptions. He also ran for 15 scores.
But with things getting shaky at Clemson, Uiagalelei opted to get a fresh start, transferring to Oregon State.
He put together his most productive year yet, throwing for 2,638 yards and 21 touchdowns, against just seven interceptions. He also ran for six scores.
Now, with his latest move, Uiagalelei has opted to head to Florida State, where he’ll have the chance to replace Jordan Travis as a starter. The Seminoles are coming off a season in which they won the ACC and went 13-0 prior to bowl season, so the expectations will be high.
Now DJ Uiagalelei will have Pritchard by his side, a bit more permanently.
