Four-Star ATH Micahi Danzy commits to Florida State

Four-star athlete Micahi Danzy of Tallahassee (FL) Florida State Univ. School announced his commitment to Florida State Saturday afternoon.
The 6-foot-1, 175 pounder chose the Seminoles over LSU and Florida.
Danzy on why he chose Florida State
“Florida State has a great tradition and the way they are going to use me at running back got me interested. Also, I’m big on track and they have a good track program. They are big education and life after football.”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for him
“I have a great relationship with the coaches. They will check up on me and supported me during the track season. I’m closest with coach Yac, coach Norvell, coach Atkins, and coach Dungans. The way they’re going to use me at running back is to put me in space like catch the ball sometimes or like zone plays.”
Danzy ranks as the No. 173 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 7 athlete and the No. 26 player in the state of Florida.

On3 ranks him higher than the industry, as he ranks as the No. 155 player nationally, the No. 4 athlete, and the No. 21 player in Florida.
The Sunshine State athlete joins coach Mike Norvell and the Seminoles’ top 12 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by five-star tight end Landen Thomas, four-star running back Kam Davis, and others.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $70K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
