4-star ATH Jalewis Solomon sets visit with Florida State

Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County four-star athlete Jalewis Solomon will visit Florida State on March 11. He announced the news on Twitter.

Solomon is the No. 112 overall prospect and No. 8 athlete in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 18 player in Georgia.

On3 rates Solomon higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, Solomon is the No. 91 overall prospect, No. 10 athlete and No. 14 player in Georgia.

The 6-foot-0, 185-pound Solomon holds 24 Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Florida State with a narrow lead over Georgia to land a commitment from Solomon.

Florida State and Georgia each have five previous visits from Solomon. His last visit to Tallahassee came last August while he visited Georgia on Nov. 5.

He also told Gator Online’s Corey Bender that Florida will be getting a visit from him some point soon.

“This process has been crazy,” Solomon told Bender. “I’ve been getting offers from all over the place, man I’ve been taking this whole process slow and just taking in everything from all the schools that have been recruiting me.

“I’ve really enjoyed this whole process, I really have, but now it’s time for me to take a step forward and focus on these top 11 schools.”
