Florida State offers On3 top-50 ATH Josiah Brown
Hicksville (N.Y.) Holy Trinity Diocesan four-star athlete Josiah Brown received an offer from Florida State Tuesday. He announced the news on Twitter.
Brown is the No. 125 overall prospect and No. 10 athlete in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in New York.
On3 rates Brown higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. He is the No. 50 overall prospect and No. 5 athlete and No. 1 player in New York in the 2024 On300.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Brown holds 19 Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Rutgers as the favorite to land a commitment from Brown at 55.1%.
Brown recently released his top 10 schools. The list includes includes Duke, Georgia, Michigan, Miami, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Penn State, Rutgers, South Carolina and Syracuse.

In January Brown took a visit to Rutgers on the 15th. He then attended Penn State’s Junior Day on Jan. 21 and a week later he took a visit to Georgia.
