Florida State is trending for Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines 2025 four-star offensive tackle Solomon Thomas, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Seminoles recruiting insider Michael Langston logged an expert prediction with a 60% confidence level that Florida State would receive Thomas’ commitment. The ‘Noles currently hold a 95.3% likelihood of doing so per the RPM.

Thomas is the nation’s No. 31 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 offensive tackle and No. 3 player from Florida.

Thomas currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $90,000. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pound offensive tackle recently told Warchant that Florida State is at the top of his list and discussed his visit to Tallahassee as the Seminoles took on Duke.

“It was a great game and it was a crazy atmosphere,” Thomas said. “This is the kind of atmosphere you want to play in. The coaches are great people, (they have) great teammates. And when you see guys rotating, and they have a great attitude and they are playing with a purpose and not for themselves.

“That’s what you want to be around.”

The ‘Noles have already received commitments from a pair of prospects in the 2025 cycle. Sanford (Fla.) Seminole four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard pledged to FSU this past weekend while Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin three-star quarterback Tramell Jones committed to Florida State back in April.
