Notre DameĀ has won the last two matchups against the Seminoles and neither game was particularly close. The Fighting Irish defeated Florida State 42-26 last season, and by a score of 42-13 in 2018.
TheĀ SeminolesĀ last defeated Notre Dame in 2014, when Jameis Winston led them to an exciting 31-27 victory.

Previously, Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell said that the team had a pretty good idea of how the quarterback room would look heading into the season.
āWeāre going to continue to evaluate that,ā NorvellĀ said. āAs a staff, weāll have a pretty good plan going into next week of what we want it to look like. At the end of the day, itās always a constant competition. If there was just one piece of it, it probably would be a little bit easier. Weāve got some talented guys. Guys that are competing at a high level. Weāre going to continue to see that as we progress through.ā
