Western Kentucky DE Deante McCray transfers to Florida State

DE Deante McCray has committed to Florida State out of the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
McCray spent the past three years of his college career with Western Kentucky. While in Bowling Green, he appeared in 29 total games, with 26 over the past two seasons and multiple starts overall, at defensive end.
In total as a Hilltopper, McCray posted 99 tackles and 3.5 sacks. That includes his stats from a career best season this past fall as a redshirt sophomore with 56 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
