Georgia Tech offers 2024 On3 3-star IOL Clinton Richard

Hiram (Ga.) three-star interior offensive lineman Clinton Richard received an offer from Georgia Tech on Friday. He announced the news over social media.

Richard is not ranked in the 2024 On3 Consensus or the 2024 On300. However, On3 rates him higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison, as a three-star recruit, the No. 43 interior offensive lineman and No. 69 player in Georgia.

The 6-foot-4, 285-pound recruit has received 10 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, North Carolina is leading for his commitment at 64.7%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. 

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

The Yellow Jackets currently have one commit in their 2024 recruiting class. Macon (Ga.) First Presbyterian Day School four-star quarterback Jakhari Williams, the No. 117 overall prospect in the On300, chose Georgia Tech on Nov. 21.

Meanwhile, the Yellow Jackets’ 2023 class contains 21 commits. It ranks No. 63 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 12 in the ACC.
