Indiana EDGE Marcus Burris enters NCAA transfer portal

Indiana EDGE Marcus Burris has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He previously spent time with the Texas A&M Aggies, as well.
Burris is a former four-star recruit out of Pleasant Grove (TX), a member of the Class of 2021, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Burris was the No. 144 recruit in the nation, the No. 18 defensive lineman and the No. 24 recruit out of Texas.
Over the last two seasons, Burris has been a regular in the Indiana defensive line rotation. He appeared in all 13 games with three starts in 2024. All told, Burris produced 34 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and two sacks in his two seasons.
It’ll be fascinating to see where Marcus Burris ends up playing his college football in 2025. He certainly made an impact on Indiana, but he’s moving on from the Hoosiers now.
