Report: Kentucky STUNT team member Laken Snelling arrested following discovery of dead infant in closet
Kentucky STUNT team member Laken Snelling was reportedly arrested Sunday and charged with abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and concealing the birth of an infant. This happened after cops said they found a dead infant in her closet.
According to the TMZ Sports report, the dead infant was found inside a black trash bag, wrapped in a towel. Snelling is reportedly the mother of the child.
“Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … Snelling told officers she was the child’s mother and ‘admitted to concealing the birth by cleaning any evidence, placing all cleaning items used inside of a black trash bag, including the infant, who was wrapped in a towel,'” the report read. “Snelling was booked at the Fayette County Detention Center and she reportedly posted $100,000 bond and is on home incarceration with no ankle monitor.”
Snelling is currently listed on the Kentucky Stunt team’s roster. She is a junior and hails from White Pine, Tennessee.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will determine the infant’s cause of death after investigation, per the report. Cops pronounced the infant dead at the scene.

According to NBC News, it is not clear if the Kentucky STUNT team member has a lawyer. The Department of Public Advocacy did not immediately respond to a request for information.
Police had states officers dispatched for Snelling’s residence after receiving a tip. The report was there was a deceased infant in a closet.
Snelling reportedly agreed to be interview by officers, per NBC News. She tried to conceal evidence of the birth, leading to the current situation.
