Class of 2025 QB Luke Nickel commits to Miami

Class of 2025 quarterback Luke Nickel of Alpharetta (GA) Milton High announced his commitment to Miami Friday afternoon.
The 6-foot-2, 205 pounder chose the Hurricanes over Penn State, Florida State, and Stanford.
“The whole family vibe at Miami stood out to me. I feel like they are doing great things with the program. The coaching staff was awesome and I feel like a great fit with them.”
His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well.
“My relationship with the staff is great,” Nickel said. “Coach Dawson and coach Cristobal have big things in mind like National championships.”

The Peach State quarterback joins coach Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes’ 2025 class. He is the lone commitment thus far.
He currently does not have an On3 NIL Valuation publicly listed. The On3 NIL Valuation is the leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
