Puyallup (Wash.) four-star offensive lineman and former Oregon commit Dave Iuli is going to visit Miami this weekend.

Iuli announced the news on social media.

Miami is led by former Ducks head coach Mario Cristobal, who himself was an offensive lineman for the Hurricanes in the 1990s.

The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – has Iuli as the No. 324 overall player in the country. He is also the No. 22 interior offensive lineman in the cycle and fourth-best player from the state of Washington.

Only Seattle Rainier Beach five-star offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr., Camas (Wash.) Union four-star wide receiver and Notre Dame commit Tobias Merriweather and Olympia (Wash.) Tumwater four-star tight end and Washington commit Ryan Otton are ranked above Iuli.

Iuli had previously told Scoop Duck that he was going to visit Miami as well as USC and Oregon again before putting pen to paper on any National Letter of Intent.

He decommitted from the Ducks on Christmas Day.

Cristobal has done a great job recruiting since taking over in South Florida. The Hurricanes have only 10 commits in the class, but nine of them are four-star recruits.

As a result, Miami has the No. 12 overall class in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. Greer (S.C.) IMG Academy four-star tight end Jaleel Skinner, Las Vegas Bishop Gorman four-star EDGE Cyrus Moss and Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard four-star defensive lineman Nyjalik Kelly lead the class as the three top-100 prospects among the group.

Offensive line is a position of need in the class as there are zero commits along the line, making Iuli a likely key target for Cristobal and his staff heading into the final go-round before National Signing Day at the start of February.
