Miami guard Divine Ugochukwu enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Miami guard Divine Ugochukwu has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned. He averaged 5.3 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists for the Hurricanes throughout the 2024-25 season.
Ugochukwu played high school basketball at Clements (Sugar Land, TX), where he was a three-star prospect in the 2024 cycle. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
As a recruit, Ugochukwu held offers from multiple other big-time programs, including Texas A&M and SMU. Will they come calling now that he’s in the transfer portal? That remains to be seen.
Regardless, Divine Ugochukwu will be hoping for more success wherever he ends up next season. Miami fell well short of expectations this past year, and the Hurricanes are looking to put their performance during the 2024-25 campaign behind them.

Reneau chose Miami over interest from Arkansas, Auburn, Michigan and USC, and becomes one of the first big pieces Lucas has recruited out of the portal since being hired on March 4th to replace longtime coach Jim Larrañaga, who retired Dec. 26.
Reneau is a four-star transfer and ranked the No. 16 overall player. He is also the fourth-ranked power forward in the current On3 Transfer Portal Rankings after initially entering the portal on March 19.
As a prep prospect, Reneau chose the Hoosiers over Miami, Florida State, Memphis and more than 20 other offers. He checked in as the No. 25 prospect nationally in that class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
