Miami head coach Mario Cristobal came to the scene of the crash, looking out for Chaney’s health in the scary moment.
There was a large police response from campus police, Coral Gables police, and Florida Highway Patrol, though why so many people were on the scene is unclear. There is also no further update on Don Chaney’s health at this time.
Don Chaney was listed as a third-year redshirt freshman on Miami’s roster this season.
