2024 NCAA Wrestling Championships: Michigan's Cameron Amine upsets Oklahoma State's Izzak Olejnik

No. 10 seed Cam Amine (Michigan) upset No. 7 Izzak Olejnik (Oklahoma State) 4-1 in sudden victory to advance to Friday’s quarterfinals at 165 pounds.
The Wolverine used his stout defense to keep the match tied 1-1 going into the overtime period. On a re-attack, Amine got the decisive takedown to advance.
With the loss, Olejnik falls to the wrestlebacks.
Amine will wrestle No. 2 seed Mitchell Mesenbrink (Penn State) Friday morning. The winner will become an All-American and advance to Friday night’s semifinals.
