Evan Link injury update: Michigan OL carted off field vs. Washington

Evan Link suffered an injury against Washington. The Michigan offensive lineman was carted off the field during the first half in Week 8.
FOX’s Jenny Taft provided an update on Link during the broadcast. She also provided insight on Washington’s Quentin Moore, as the Huskies tight end was also carted off during the first half.
“It’s so hard when we see anyone carted off. The update from Michigan’s Evan Link — he’s actually in the locker room right now, hoping to see his guys at the break,” Taft revealed.
“For Washington, we just saw Quentin Moore. I can tell you he did have movement when he was taken off the field.”
As Taft mentioned, both fanbases are hoping for the best when it comes to Link and Moore. At the moment, the two teams are in the locker room for halftime — the score is tied at seven.

More on Washington at Michigan
Moreover, Saturday’s showdown was billed as a battle between two young, Big Ten quarterbacks Both Demond Williams and Bryce Underwood have been impressive so far in 2025, and they’re squaring off for the first time at The Big House.
Underwood turned in a strong game in Week 6 against Wisconsin, throwing for 270 yards and a touchdown to help lead Michigan to the victory. The former top recruit has also shown off his rushing ability, notably with two impressive touchdowns against Central Michigan.
Williams, meanwhile, put together another monster game in a Friday night primetime game in Week 7. He not only threw for 402 yards on two touchdowns – on 21-of-27 passing – but added a team-high 136 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a victory over Rutgers.
This set the table for the matchup in Ann Arbor, as part of an exciting Week 8 slate. Of course, it’s also a rematch of the 2023 national championship, but both teams have new looks since that night in Houston. Heading into the weekend, the Wolverines opened as 6.5-point favorites against the Huskies, according to BetMGM. The over-under also opened at 50.5.
