Despite buzz surrounding Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh in regards to taking the Raider’s coaching job, he still found some time to hit the gym with some of the kids he’s trying to recruit for next season.

This means two things: One, Harbaugh is locked into his recruiting plans for another year in Ann Arbor (maybe). And two, his pants are very durable. I mean, come one, how’d they not rip?

If you don’t want to go play for a coach that does his squats in a button down and slacks, then I don’t know what to tell you.

Sure, this photo is funny, but it also shows that Harbaugh is still recruiting for Michigan. Would that be something a coach that has one foot out of the door be doing? From yesterday’s contradicting reports, who knows what to believe anymore.

According to a report from The Athletics’ Bruce Feldman, current Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh would accept the Las Vegas Raiders’ head coaching job, if offered.

It’s no secret Harbaugh wants that highly elusive Super Bowl ring and is willing to take any job, if the ring fits, not just the Raiders job, according to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio.

Harbaugh is coming off one of the best seasons in modern Michigan football history. Not only did the Wolverines take down bitter rival Ohio State for the first time in 17 years, they also made their first appearance in the College Football Playoffs before falling to the eventual national champion Georgia Bulldogs 34-11.

Harbaugh, 58, came to Michigan in 2015 after a four-season stint with the San Francisco 49ers that saw him battle his brother, John, in Super Bowl XLVII where the Baltimore Ravens went on to win 34-31 in a game now infamously known as the “Blackout Bowl”

During the offseason, the Wolverines extended Harbaugh through the 2025 season but cut his pay in half. Harbaugh’s base salary for 2021 dropped to $4 million — he had been paid over $8 million in 2020.

Harbaugh was afforded an extra $1.5 million thanks to winning the Big Ten championship, making the College Football Playoffs and for winning the Big Ten East Division.

After the Ohio State win, Harbaugh announced that all bonus money from those contract incentives would go toward employees at Michigan athletic who had their pay affected by the pandemic.

Whether Harbaugh decides to stay at Michigan or head back to the NFL, one thing is for sure, Harbaugh has gains.
