Michigan star Vlad Goldin reunites with parents for first time in five years

It can be pretty difficult to be an international basketball star coming to America to play college hoops. Players often have to spend extensive amounts of time away from their families and homes. And for Michigan star Vladislav Goldin, heās gone five years without seeing his parents.
He finally got to see them on Sunday, and the Big Ten Network was there to capture the special moment.
The Russian center has been as advertised this year for the Wolverines, stuffing the stat sheet with 15.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game, while shooting 64.1% from the floor. Goldin and the Wolverines pulled off a pretty stunning win against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights recently, after Nimari Burnett drained a deep three-pointer at the buzzer to lift them to an 84-82 victory.
The win moved Michigan into a tie for first place in the Big Ten Standings. Michigan currently sits at 14-3 in the Big Ten and 22-6 overall, tied with Michigan State for first place.
