Dylan Raiola gets some flack for cosplaying as Patrick Mahomes at times since becoming the starting quarterback at Nebraska. However, he showed off some of his own flare at Big Ten Media Days on Tuesday.

The Cornhuskers rising star rocked a custom suit to the event, and he went into great detail about the outfit he was wearing. Shared to X (formerly known as Twitter) by Laren Michelson of KETV, Raiola walked the media throughout his snazzy outfit. Check it out below.

As you can tell, that suit certainly pops on Raiola. He’s making a statement at Big Ten Media Days, ahead of a season where Nebraska is trying to make a statement within the Big Ten.

It’s going to be Matt Rhule’s third year at the helm of the program, and that usually is a good sign for the coach. When he chose to lead the Cornhuskers, he knew it wouldn’t be an easy gig, but everything seems to be going according to plan at the moment.

A lot of the team’s success will hinge on Raiola. Whether or not he can play as well as he’s dressing remains to be seen, but he’s getting a solid amount of hype heading into his sophomore campaign.

More on Dylan Raiola, Nebraska Cornhuskers

Dylan Raiola is dressing like a star, but will his play on the field mimic his fashion off of it? Evidently, Pat McAfeeĀ is a believer.

Earlier this offseason, McAfee waxed poetic about the Nebraska quarterback during an episode of The Pat McAfee Show. He’s expecting the Cornhuskers to have a young star in him come kickoff this season.

ā€œI’m high on the Nebraska CornhuskersĀ after getting a chance to meet these boys and chit chat with them one-on-one post-Monday Night RAW in the back. … I did think about the conversation we were having while sitting in traffic in Omaha for a good bit there after the program and I would like to let the Nebraska Cornhusker boys know – I said, worth it. It was cool to meet them,ā€ McAfee stated, regarding Raiola and his teammates.

ā€œThat Dylan kid was, it was great. Like, he was, I enjoyed the way he was operating. Like, I enjoyed, he just has like a star kind of vibe about him. I think Dylan Raiola is going to be a star next year.ā€

Raiola, a former five-star and the third-best quarterback in his recruiting class, showed signs of that as a true freshman last season asĀ Nebraska’s QB1. He completed 67.1% of his throws for 2,819 passing yards, good for 216.8 per game, with 13 touchdowns but 11 interceptions. It wasn’t all good, especially from October on, but there’s still a lot of promise going into his sophomore season this next year.
