4-star cornerback Jaylon Braxton offered by Nebraska

Frisco (Texas) Lone Star cornerback Jaylon Braxton has been offered by Nebraska, he announced Sunday on Twitter.
Braxton is the No. 274 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 31 linebacker and the No. 25 junior prospect in Texas.
On3’s own rankings are a bit higher on Braxton, pegging him as the country’s No. 154 prospect and the No. 25 player in Texas.
The 6-foot, 155-pounder also holds offers from Oklahoma State, Baylor, TCU, Colorado, Utah, Northwestern, SMU and Vanderbilt, among others.

“The schools recruiting me the hardest are Baylor, Oklahoma State, Boston College and Northwestern,” Braxton recently told the Ole Miss Spirit. “I’m looking for a place that feels like home. I want to win a national championship and the Jim Thorpe award.”
The Cornhuskers already have three prospects committed in the 2023 class, including three-star cornerback Dwight Bootle II.
