Fred Hoiberg has hilarious reaction to bizarre interruption during press conference

Fred Hoiberg walked into a press conference on Monday thinking standard procedures would take place. Less than a month out from the season, Nebraska is going to be one of the more interesting teams in the Big Ten. Local media gathered, ready to ask questions about the upcoming campaign.
However, a viral moment wound up taking place due to an interruption. Somebody must have been pulling up a video, one they maybe wanted to keep private. Instead, it blared for everyone in the room to hear.
As Hoiberg was in the middle of an answer, the audio begins to play of “What happens when the prostate enlarges” before lowering the volume. Hoiberg hilariously reacted, and quickly, saying, “Oh sh*t. That’s a dilemma. Can you give me the answer on that? Cause I usually get up at about 1:00 for the first time. Anyway, I lost track. Where were we?”
Not a topic anyone expected on the day. You can check out the full moment from Lincoln here, bringing some laughs to everyone involved.
Hopefully, whoever’s phone presumably went off in this situation got the answer they were looking for. Hoiberg might be searching for it along with them. Bathroom breaks in the middle of the night are no joke.

More on Fred Hoiberg, stint at Nebraska
From a historical standpoint, there is not much success for Nebraska. Only eight NCAA Tournament wins are on the program’s resume. Going one step further, all but one of them resulted in a first-round exit, making it to the Round of 32 in 2014 under Tim Miles.
But what Hoiberg has been able to do is bring a little more stability. Back-to-back winning seasons are a plus in Lincoln, combining for 44 total wins. It’s the most in a two-year stretch for the Cornhuskers throughout their time on the hardwood.
Even so, the goal moving forward is to get into the NCAA Tournament on a consistent basis. Hoiberg likely needs to guide Nebraska to a better conference record this upcoming season after going 7-13 last year. Losing five straight to close things out also shut their tournament chances.
Hoiberg did take Nebraska to a postseason tournament, participating in the College Basketball Crown. Four wins, three of which were against power conference teams, saw them win the championship in Las Vegas. Everyone inside the building will be hoping it’s something the Huskers can build on.
