Bill Belichick spotted supporting Jordon Hudson at cheerleading competition

North Carolina coach Bill Belichick isn’t in the habit of making apologies, and he’s certainly been unapologetic about his relationship with girlfriend Jordon Hudson. Hudson is 24 years old, creating a 50-year age gap with the legendary football coach.

But Belichick has done his part as a supportive boyfriend. That apparently includes supporting Hudson as a cheerleader.

According to Adam Kessel on Twitter, Bill Belichick was seen on Tuesday night in Raleigh, N.C., supporting Hudson at a co-ed, adult cheerleading competition. He included photos of both parties, as well as a link to video from the event.

Hudson previously served as a cheerleader at Bridgewater State University, continuing an endeavor she is quite fond of. Hudson is also a big figure on the pageantry circuit, where she finished as the first runner-up for Miss Maine USA in 2024.

Since then, Hudson began dating Bill Belichick, the long-time coach of the New England Patriots. Belichick is one of the winningest coaches in the sport, having racked up 302 total wins in the NFL.

From there, though, Belichick opted to shift to the college game. And an opportunity to be the head coach at North Carolina presented itself ahead of the 2025 season.

It has been met with some resistance, both on the field and off it. Belichick’s relationship with Hudson has been an ongoing source of media attention, given her reportedly strong influential ties in his decision-making processes.

Journalist Pablo Torre has published repeatedly on some of the ties between Bill Belichick and Hudson. They’ve often manifested into tangible business decisions.

The ongoing off-the-field drama that seems to follow Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson like a shadow was revived in mid-October after former ESPN reporter Pablo Torre‘s latest exposé involving the first-year North Carolina head coach and his 24-year-old girlfriend/business partner. It involved a hot mic on a film production.

On a Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast episode, Torre released exclusive behind-the-scenes video that show Belichick and Hudson making catty and critical comments about the NFL Films crew that worked on Belichick’s “Coach” podcast show during his 2024 coaching hiatus. Torre released it as the latest example of Hudson’s controversial involvement in Belichick’s business endeavors, including throughout a difficult first season in Chapel Hill.

In the leaked video, Hudson — who serves as Belichick’s personal public relations manager and has become a controversial figure for her perceived involvement with the North Carolina football program — can be heard offering suggestions on how to improve the show’s graphics, repeatedly mentioning “Adobe Photoshop,” and questioning the difference between the use of “endzone” and “redzone.”

“This feels like a how many people does it take to screw in a lightbulb situation,” Hudson told Belichick while criticizing the production crew. “If somebody puts on a clock, I can create this in five minutes. Will you give me two grand to do that?”
