David Pollack hints at Jordon Hudson relationship being 'an issue' for Bill Belichick amid North Carolina struggles

It’s been just four games, but the Bill Belichick era at North Carolina has been nothing short of a disaster so far. You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who disagrees.
Although it boasts a 2-2 record, North Carolina’s two wins came against Charlotte and Richmond. In the Tar Heels’ two games against Power-Four competition (TCU and UCF), they have been outscored 82-23 and outgained 908-439. Against quality competition, they haven’t even been remotely competitive.
However, they have a major opportunity this weekend to turn some heads as they host reeling 1-3 Clemson at home in Chapel Hill. The Tigers have dropped three of their first four games for the first time in the Dabo Swinney and need a win just as desperately as North Carolina does.
On this week’s edition of ‘See Ball Get Ball with David Pollack,” Pollack claims that this game could be a big bounce-back game for Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik. He also alluded to the relationship between Belichick and his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, being a potential problem amidst the team’s struggles.
Pollack throws shade at Belichick and Hudson’s relationship
“(Cade) Klubnik has a real opportunity to bounce back this week because they’re playing North Carolina,” Pollack said. “Like, you’ve got to bounce back. Talk about a preseason miss… me on North Carolina saying that they were going to win seven or eight games because of their schedule. They have been ungood. Very ungood. And I know there’s all these things that are going on with Bill (Belichick) and the 20-something-year-old that could be an issue and the atmosphere and all the stuff that goes into it.”

“Maybe it’s just learning college football, because that happens. You’re gonna have to learn. But we have seen more with NFL coaches coming down and having success. That’s not a surprise. Bill doing it though in his seventies being one of the most winningest coaches ever was pretty surprising that he’s been ungood. Very ungood.”
This offseason, which should have been building excitement for the Belichick era at UNC, was instead filled with gossip and tabloids involving his girlfriend. The biggest instance of this was an awkward CBS Sunday Morning interview, in which Hudson completely shut down a question asked to Belichick about their relationship. This made for an extremely awkward moment, which pretty much barred the entire interview from being anything other than uncomfortable.
Following the game against Clemson, North Carolina will face just one ranked opponent (Virginia) in its final seven games. The Tar Heels have not gone winless in conference play since 1989.
