2024 OT Desmond Jackson commits to North Carolina
Clemmons (N.C.) West Forsyth offensive tackle Desmond Jackson has announced his commitment to North Carolina. He chose the Tar Heels over offers from Georgia Tech and Louisville among others.
Jackson is not ranked in the 2024 On3 Consensus or the 2024 On300. He is 6-foot-4 and weighs 285 pounds.
“After much thought and consideration with my family, I have decided to commit to The University Of North Carolina (Chapel Hill),” Jackson wrote in a statement published to Twitter. “I give special thanks to Coach Mack Brown, Randy Clements, Julian Rowe-Cohen, and the entire UNC football recruiting staff.

North Carolina now has two players in its 2024 recruiting class. They are Jackson and Eatonton (Ga.) Gatewood School tight end Evan Bennett.
