Netflix mocks Bill Belichick, Jordon Hudson's viral CBS interview in John Mulaney, Richard Kind skit

The relationship between North Carolina’s Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson has been front and center in the media this week, coming off an interview this weekend on CBS Sunday Morning. That’s now led to parodies in the week since, including the latest one on Netflix.
Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney is a new, 12-episode series of live sit-down interviews on the streaming service that debuted back in March. The latest episode, which dropped today on the platform, came with a sketch with Mulaney talking to Richard Kind, meant to be Belichick, while their version of Hudson, named Geirsten, interrupted him.
This comes after that now viral interview for Belichick, supposedly about his upcoming book titled ‘The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football’, on CBS Sunday Morning this past weekend. Hudson reportedly had her issues with the sit-down, reportedly having a storming out of the interview, or her shutting down the question asked to him about their relationship.
Since then, there’s been national reaction to the interview and to their relationship. That has included comments and criticism from many like Paul Finebaum, Charles Barkley, Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo, Ted Johnson.
There doesn’t seem to be as much issue on the near half-century age difference between Belichick and Hudson. The reported concern looks to be on her role in his life that’s now affecting his career, on or off of the field. That effect is supposedly being felt most at North Carolina now with her influence, including her apparent role in the cancellation of ‘Hard Knocks’ coming to Chapel Hill to cover the start of his tenure with the Tar Heels.
People were aware of this relationship between Belichick and Hudson but, since coming to college and especially following this interview, it has come even further into the spotlight. As such, critics and comics have come after it alike with Netflix being the latest in the aftermath of it this week.

Report: Concern growing at UNC regarding Hudson’s influence on Belichick
There could be some drama brewing in Chapel Hill regarding the relationship between Belichick and Hudson. According to a report from TMZ this week, people within the Tar Heels’ program are becoming concerned with the influence that Hudson has on their new head coach.
She allegedly stormed out of a recent sit-down interview that Belichick did with CBS’ Tony Dokoupil to promote his new book, delaying shooting for nearly 30 minutes. The report also states that Hudson, who was seated off to the side, would often interrupt when the coach was answering questions to correct him.
A source close to the situation told TMZ that there is a “growing sense this could become a problem” among people at UNC. Earlier this month, a report revealed Hudson is listed as the chief operating officer (COO) of Belichick Productions. However, she is not currently listed in any official capacity on North Carolina’s athletic department online staff directory according to the team’s website.
That probe came after Belichick requested UNC athletic department staff copy Hudson in all emails involving him. The internal emails also revealed some of Hudson’s more pressing concerns, mostly involving how Belichick is being perceived by the outside world, and that the UNC administration is doing everything it can to shield him from criticism, especially on team-controlled social media accounts.
