Notre Dame offers 4-star EDGE Colton Vasek
Austin (Texas) Westlake four-star EDGE Colton Vasek has picked up an offer from Notre Dame.
Vasek is the No. 233 prospect in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
On3 ranks him as No. 172 overall recruit and No. 21 EDGE in the 2023 On300 ranking.
Vasek is the second big-time EDGE recruit to pick up an offer Thursday from Notre Dame after. Upper Marlboro (Md.) Charles Herbert Flowers four-star EDGE Desmond Umeozulu. Umeozulu is the No. 83 player in the 2023 On300. He currently also has an On3 NIL Valuation of $8.6k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
The Fighting Irish currently have nine commits in their 2023 recruiting class, which ranks second in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. Four recruits — Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep five-star EDGE Keon Keeley, Denton (Texas) Guyer four-star safety Peyton Bowen, Merrillville (Ind.) Andrean four-star linebacker Drayk Bowen and Mentor (Ohio) four-star defensive lineman Brenan Vernon — rank in the top 100 of the On3 Consensus.
