Jeremiah Smith, Carnell Tate injury updates: Ryan Day lists Ohio State WRs as day-to-day

Ohio State did not need anything from Jeremiah Smith or Carnell Tate to cruise to a comfortable victory vs. Rutgers on Saturday. In fact, neither wide receiver even dressed up. The Buckeyes trotted out there without two of the best weapons in college football and still put up 42 points.

Now, all questions are about their availability ahead of the Michigan game. Ryan Day gave the official status, listing Smith and Tate as day-to-day. No further information was provided other than there will be a massive effort to get the duo ready for The Game.

“The only thing I’ll say, really, is that they’re day-to-day,” Day said. “The staff and those guys are working really hard to get ready to play next week.”
