Miami (OH) EDGE transfer Caiden Woullard commits to Oklahoma Sooners
Miami (Ohio) edge transfer Caiden Woullard recently entered the NCAA Transfer Portal searching for a new home. On Thursday evening, he found one and officially committed to the Oklahoma Sooners, he announced on his Twitter page.
He racked up 41 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, and 9.5 sacks this season. It’s a massive land for the Sooners, landing one of the best pass rushers in the transfer portal. He’s currently the No. 9 ranked EDGE rusher in the 2024 On3 Transfer Portal Player Rankings.
In 2022, Woullard started 12 games for the Redhawks, racking up 29 tackles, five tackles for loss, four sacks, once forced fumble, and three pass breakups. He tallied a season-high six tackles vs. the Ohio Bobcats.
He earned first team all-state honors at Massillon High School as a senior and second team all-state honors as a junior. Once he hung up his cleats there, Woullard owned the school record for career sacks and tackles for loss in a single season.
