Oklahoma rises to No. 7 in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings

Monday was a good night for Oklahoma.
The Sooners landed South Bend (Ind.) St. Joseph’s four-star safety Daeh McCullough on the recruiting trail and his older brother, Indiana linebacker Dasan McCullough, in the transfer portal.
Daeh McCullough flipped his commitment from Cincinnati. And with his decision, Oklahoma flipped spots with Miami in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
The Sooners now have the seventh-ranked class in the country.
McCullough is the No. 350 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $100k. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

“The whole coaching staff makes me feel at home and have a plan for my football career,” McCullough said. “But even better, they try to set their players up for the best life they can have after football. Coach Valai, Hall and Venables showed me so much love over the phone, and then in person really blew me away with their knowledge of the game. Playing with my brother is a huge factor also, and this is a place that fits both of us.”
The class has two five-star recruits in Denton (Texas) Guyer Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Jackson Arnold and Kansas City (Mo.) North Kansas City five-star EDGE Adepoju Adebawore.
