After Oklahoma found itself down 14-0 in the first quarter against Kansas State, receiver Theo Wease teamed up with quarterback Dillon Gabriel for an answer. Wease got wide open behind the Wildcats defense, and Gabriel hit him in stride for the catch.

Wease then looked ahead and saw plenty of open field in front of him as he ran the remaining 30-plus yards for the 56-yard touchdown. The score cut the deficit to just one touchdown with 2:32 remaining in the first quarter.

The score was the biggest play for OU so far, as the Sooners were forced to punt on their first two drives of the game. At the end of the first quarter, Gabriel was 5-of-10 passing for 87 yards and a touchdown.
