WATCH: Oklahoma cornerback Damond Harmon carted off field after injury vs. TCU
Oklahoma sophomore cornerback Damond Harmon was carted off the field midway through the fourth quarter against TCU after apparently injuring his head and/or neck on a first down play. His head and neck snapped back while making a tackle.
The second-year Sooner remained down on the field for an extended period before being stabilized on a rigid board and loaded on to a stretcher and the cart. On the broadcast, and as noted by reporters, Harmonās arm was moving and he appeared to be conscious and alert.
Robert Griffin III, on the call for ABC, tweeted a picture of the somber scene as Harmon remained down. Both teams had come out to around midfield and were standing in solitude with the injured player.
Oklahoma also lost quarterback Dillon Gabriel to injury against TCU
OklahomaĀ quarterbackĀ Dillon GabrielĀ left the game againstĀ TCUĀ after suffering a vile looking hit while attempting to slide after a run.
After the play, Horned Frogs defenderĀ Jamoi HodgeĀ was ejected for his contact with the Oklahoma quarterbackās helmet. Check out the play for yourself below, and be the judge on whether the hit was dirty or not.

Afterward, Hodge was distraught on the sidelines, almost brought to tears with a towel draped covering his head. He immediately regretted the hit, wishing to take it all back in a momentās notice. Gabriel was able to walk off the field under his own power.
Gabriel was replaced with backup quarterbackĀ Davis BevilleĀ entered the game. Relying on the Soonersā ground game, Oklahoma scored on the same drive, viaĀ Jovantae BarnesĀ taking a 20-yard rush to the house.
Oklahoma trailed 34-17 at the time of the injury and looked to make an improbable comeback against TCU.
