Parsa Fallah injury update: Steve Lutz shares what he knows on Oklahoma State forward's status

Parsa Fallah has started in all five games so far for Oklahoma State. His status for the Cowboys’ next game could be questionable, though, after coming out of last night’s latest win with an injury.
Steve Lutz quickly addressed a bit of a leg injury that Fallah had in the 103-95 win over USF on Wednesday night. He said he tweaked his knee a little bit on a defensive play, but that the senior forward would play if he could in their next game on Saturday afternoon.
“Yeah, I don’t know. I saw him, obviously – kind of, he was trying to, he’s backpedaling and he’s kind of trying to stop him and he steps on his foot and he kind of jiggles his knee a little bit,” Lutz explained. “But, I don’t know. We’ll have to see what the doctors say. But Parsa is a tough kid. I know that, if there’s an opportunity for him to play, he’s going to play.”
Fallah, a 6’10 big man from Iran, is in his first season and final year of college eligibility overall at Oklahoma State. He, over the first five games of their undefeated start in Stillwater, is averaging 11.4 points (62.9% FG), 6.4 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game for the Cowboys. That makes him the leader in rebounding and steals on the team, while also having scored in double-figures in four of the five games for the ‘Pokes.

In his collegiate career, Fallah also stopped for one year at Oregon State after spending his first three seasons, with a redshirt campaign, as an underclassman at Southern Utah. He, in total, has posted 9.6 points (59.9% FG) and 4.0 rebounds per game over his career with the Thunderbirds and the Beavers in the WCC, and now the Cowboys in the Big 12.
That had Fallah as a Top 450 overall player and a Top 100 power forward in the portal last offseason, according to On3’s Industry Ranking of 2025’s Top Transfer Portal Players. He was one of seven transfer additions for the ‘Pokes, with Lutz bringing in a Top-15 class per On3’s 2025 Team Transfer Portal Rankings.
Oklahoma State has two days before it takes the court again against Nicholls on Saturday, before playing a big non-conference game next week against Northwestern in Chicago on Thanksgiving. But, the Cowboys will have to wait and see if Fallah, one of their key pieces, will be available for them in the lineup.
