4-star LB Brayden Platt commits to Oregon

Four-star linebacker Brayden Platt of Yelm (WA) High announced his commitment to Oregon Monday night.
The 6-foot-2, 242-pounder chose the Ducks over Oklahoma.
“For me what stood out about Oregon was the culture, how everyone is one family and also the development that I can get there as a linebacker. Coach Lanning, Lupoi O, and B Mike are three really great coaches, who I feel like can definitely develop me into a great linebacker.”
His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well.
“I’m probably closest with coach Lupoi and B Mike. They see me as a linebacker that can hit like they had Noah and also be able to play sideline to sideline.”
