WATCH: Oregon center N'Faly Dante posterizes Kerr Kriisa
Saturday’s Arizona–Oregon matchup did not have too much hype leading into tip-off but things changed quite quickly. Center N’Faly Dante now has the Ducks ready to go to battle with the No. 9 ranked in the country thanks to an insane dunk within the first minute of the game.
Arizona was trying to break a press following an Oregon miss and attempted a long pass. N’Faly did his best defensive back impersonation, something even Dan Lanning would be happy with. He intercepted the pass and made his way down the court with some intention.
Kerr Krissa was then on the receiving end of a ferocious dunk from N’Faly — one that will most likely end up as one of the best this season. It’s now forever going to be a highlight in college basketball compilations for years to come.

A lot is on the line for Oregon at home, needing a win to stay above .500. Not only overall for the season but also in Pac-12 play. Getting a win over a program such as Arizona would be a great way to kick start the season in mid-January.

Dante has brought the energy early in the first half. Even if the dunk had not happened, he is still out there hustling for the Ducks and making smart decisions. Thankfully, he was able to convert to dunk and will forever be remembered.
In 17 games this season for Oregon, Dante has played in and started in 16 of them. He has been a solid player for head coach Dana Altman, averaging 13 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. In order for the Ducks to get a win on Saturday afternoon, Dante will have to put up similar numbers and possibly even exceed his season averages.
