Bryce Molinaro answers Michigan rally with grand slam to give Penn State the lead in 8th inning

Bryce Molinaro won’t go away easily. On Thursday, the redshirt freshman smacked a grand slam to left field to give Penn State a 7-5 lead over Michigan in the bottom of the eighth inning in the teams’ Big Ten Tournament showdown.
The home run was Molinaro’s eighth of the season. Molinaro entered the Thursday night matchup with 32 RBI on 53 hits while boasting a .338 batting average and a .554 slugging percentage.
Molinaro began his collegiate career at St. John’s. However, he did not see action during his true freshman season with the Red Storm. He then transferred to Penn State ahead of the 2024 campaign. Molinaro is now making the most of his move.
